Bangkok may not have lot of “tourist attractions” the way that Paris, London and NYC do but that’s OK;
Bangkok is not that kind of city – this is a place to wander, eat, shop and relax.
The city is very vivid with a lot of motion like any other big city, and I must admit It's very different then how I imagined it.
Huge shopping centers and skyscrapers mixed in the view of authentic temples and a really beautiful nature colors all around;
awww.. and a really sticky humid weather and pollution.
It doesn’t have to be a love-it-or-hate-it city but it is worth seeing.
The First day: St.Regis Bangkok state of mind:
The first day was all about relaxing at the hotel room after the long flight, and when staying at the
St.Regis Bangkok I just couldn't ask for more.
This Hotel room is Everything!
with a bathroom so relaxing you'll never wanna leave, and with bed so big that fits a king.
Furthermore this hotel offers a sky pool which makes the perfect retreat from the hot humid weather;
and cool lounges and bars.
Cutest welcoming at the St.Regis,
passion fruits and macaroons!
Thank you guys!! we loved it.
Also the hotel is located in the center of Bangkok right next to a golf park and the views from the hotel room were to die for!
I really recommend this hotel for everybody who is into high end luxury hotels.
wake up service: Punctual.
Breakfast: Excellent and fresh, with large variety for everyone.
Day 2: Tour the temples:
The 2nd day was all about getting to know this beautiful city that mixes so perfectly between tradition
(with gorgeous temples and golden Buddhas), and modern skyscrapers.
All of those decorated in gorgeous colors of orchids, palm trees and clear blue sky.
This Gorgeous temple is located in the center of Bangkok.
Bangkok famous reclining Buddha.
Day 3: The last day - Foot massage & Shopping:
Bangkok is very well known for her large shopping centers and markets where you can find everything from
couture to traditional hand made crafts.
I took This pic while visiting the Embassy mall.
This Mall is located next to the Hayatt hotel and has
absolutely everything to offer for the fashion lovers among of you.
With stores like Yves Saint Lauren, Ck, Chanel, MQueen,
Givenchy, Moschino, Valentino, and lot more.
as well you have some other malls like : Siam and MBK.
The Kaho San market really offers everything! from authentic Thai street food, to the local desserts and fruits.
As well you'll be able to get some foot massage if you'd like, and buy almost everything from clothes to electronics.
I really recommend you to go there and try some of the more local food. its really delicious and fresh.
In Order to deal with the humid weather I used La Mer's facial mist.
Its small so you can take it anywhere, plus it comes in a spray bottle which makes it really easy to use;
It was so refreshing and really kept my face clean.
